Barber Program

1200 Total Training Hours

This program is designed for individuals who do not hold a Cosmetology License and are seeking a Barber License in the State of Arizona. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on training in hair cutting, shaving, and professional barbering techniques.

Instruction includes classroom lectures, live demonstrations, supervised student practice, and real-world experience working with the public under a licensed Barber Instructor. Graduates gain the skills and confidence required to pass the Arizona Board of Barbers Examination and secure employment in the barbering industry.

Already licensed in cosmetology but looking to sharpen your barbering skills? Signature Barber Academy offers customized crossover and private barber training designed for cosmetologists who want to gain more confidence, hands-on experience, and advanced barbering techniques. Our training focuses on modern barbering skills including: Fades & tapers Clipper cutting techniques Beard detailing & straight razor work Face tapers & finishing techniques Speed, precision, and shop readiness Hands-on training with real clients Every student comes in with a different level of experience, which is why our programs are tailored specifically to each individual.
